Re-NEET‘s AI-generated OMR sheet? NTA says – if you cheat, you’ll end up in jail:- Amid allegations of changing OMR sheets in the re-NEET exam, NTA has issued a major statement. The agency said that during the investigation, they found several fake and AI-generated OMR sheets. Students and parents are advised to submit only the original OMR, otherwise, legal action will be taken.
The political and administrative mess hasn’t stopped since the results of the medical entrance exam Re-NEET came out. After the main opposition party Congress made serious allegations about OMR sheets being swapped in the exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) made a big revelation and countered them.
NTA has issued an official statement on social media warning that many students’ OMR sheets sent for scrutiny are actually fake and created using artificial intelligence (AI). The agency has said it will take direct legal action against such people.The whole controversy heated up even more when Congress shared a video message of a victim’s father on their official X (Twitter) handle, directly attacking the government and the NTA.
Big allegation from Congress – OMR sheet was changed
Congress alleges that there was widespread manipulation during the re-NEET exam. The party claims that the real OMR sheet of a student named Avnish Srivastava was deliberately swapped with the sheet of another candidate named Ajit Singh. Congress has raised serious questions about the system, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over this alleged scam.
NTA’s strict warning
Amid these allegations from Congress and rising pressure on social media, the National Testing Agency (NTA) clarified the situation through a tweet. NTA said, ‘NTA is closely monitoring and investigating all complaints. Many OMR sheets submitted for scrutiny have been found to be fake and AI-generated. In view of this, all students and parents are advised to submit only the original OMR sheets for verification. Any fake or AI-generated OMR sheet found may lead to strict legal action against the complainant.’
The agency’s tough stance makes it clear that amid questions about the exam’s integrity, it is preparing to legally clamp down on those spreading fake propaganda.
